About Me
Qualifications and Experiences

I'm delighted to introduce myself as a child and adolescent clinical psychologist dedicated to helping young people and their families navigate life's challenges. My journey in psychology started with a First Class BSc (Hons) in Psychology, followed by a Masters degree (MRes) and a PhD in Cognitive Psychology. These academic experiences have given me a deep understanding of the human mind, all leading up to my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. You can view a selection of my academic publications and research contributions via my Google Scholar profile.
I am a registered member of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and one of the few specialists in a secondary CAMHS service. This means I have a wealth of experience working with children and young people who are dealing with various emotional and psychological issues. I understand how children and young people grow and develop, and I use this knowledge to tailor my approach to each individual.

Alongside my NHS role, I run this private practice independently and part-time. All blog content and educational materials hosted on this site are created outside of NHS working hours. These reflections are based on my clinical experience and academic interests, and do not represent the views of the NHS or any employing organisation.

Therapy can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially for young people. That’s why I focus on creating a relaxed and friendly atmosphere where children and young people feel safe and understood. I blend different therapeutic techniques to find the best fit for each person, always aiming to make our sessions as effective and comforting as possible.

My goal is to build a trusting relationship with every young person I work with, respecting their space and boundaries. By doing so, I hope to make therapy a positive and empowering experience, helping young clients feel better and more in control of their lives.
